CCMR Solutions, LLC proudly celebrates our Co Founder and Chief Operating Officer, Dr. Luis A. Lucio, on his recognition by The Concilio as an inaugural 2026 Texas Latino Legacy Award recipient in the Legacy Leader category.

The Texas Latino Legacy Awards recognize leaders whose vision, service, and contributions have strengthened communities across Texas while creating opportunities for future generations.

For the CCMR Solutions family, this recognition carries special meaning because the principles represented by the award are deeply connected to the work Dr. Lucio has dedicated his career to advancing.

A Career Centered on Access and Opportunity

For more than three decades, Dr. Lucio’s educational journey has spanned K 12 leadership, higher education, workforce development, community engagement, leadership development, and entrepreneurship.

As a first generation college graduate, his personal experience has shaped a career focused on helping others access opportunities that can change the trajectory of students, families, and communities.

His leadership journey has included serving as a teacher, school principal, district administrator,  launching the Lone Star College East Aldine Center as its founding Dean, serving in higher education executive leadership, supporting workforce education initiatives, launching the Dallas College Workforce Center at RedBird as founding Senior Director and coaching current and aspiring educational leaders, K-12 leadership teams throughout the United States with Texas A&M University and ultimately helping establish CCMR Solutions, LLC.

Across those roles, one theme has remained consistent: opening doors for others.

Legacy Is About What Comes Next

At CCMR Solutions, we believe leadership extends beyond individual accomplishments. The greatest measure of leadership is the opportunities created for those who follow.

Dr. Lucio’s resilience, perseverance, and commitment to education demonstrate what can happen when purpose is paired with hard work. His journey also serves as a reminder that breaking barriers carries an opportunity to make the pathway wider for the next generation.

That philosophy continues through the work of CCMR Solutions as we partner with schools, districts, higher education institutions, workforce organizations, and communities to expand educational access and create stronger pathways from education to employment.
